Low Country Lagoons was built from a genuine love of creating things that last and enjoying the process along the way. Ryan Tanner grew up in rural Georgia outside of Atlanta, where construction wasn’t just a job, it was part of everyday life.
After studying construction management at Georgia Southern University and relocating to Charleston, Ryan realized he wanted to be hands-on working outdoors, managing job sites, and bringing ideas to life. That passion led to the creation of Low Country Lagoons.
Today, Ryan is personally involved in every project as both the designer and project manager, ensuring each detail reflects his high standards. The company specializes in high end pool construction and custom outdoor living spaces designed to be anything but cookie-cutter.

The Greater Charleston Area comprises several permitting municipalities corresponding to each of the islands, townships & cities. Our team holds relationships and knowledge of process with each municipality to aid our clients in achieving a quick turnaround time on all necessary permits.
